MISSION The University of California Committee on Latino Research (UCCLR) was established to develop the University's response to Senate Concurrent Resolution 43 (Presley, 1987), charging the University to examine important issues concerning California's growing Chicano/Latino Population. The UCCLR meets twice a year to review concerns of importance to scholarship and research on Chicano/Latino issues in California and oversees a program of competitive funding in individual faculty research and campus research infrastructure support for this effort. |
